My 11 year old daughter loves to sing. She often makes up her own songs and she will sing them to anyone who will listen to her. Every year at the school talent show, she performs on stage. Last year, she won an award for the Most Original because she sang a song she had written herself. She wants to grow up to be a rock star and my husband and I have chosen just to encourage her. We know that the chances are that she will need a more solid career to fall back on, but you never know. So, if that is her dream, we will support her. Her 12th birthday is coming up next week and we are going to buy her some singing software. I know she will love this gift and I can not wait to hear all of the new songs she creates with it.

I am actually really good. However, I am still using a digital piano. Back then, I wanted something cheap. I didn’t want to spend too much money on a shaky future so I bought a Casio digital piano. However, now that I am performing for my school and doing a lot of recitals, I really need to look into getting an acoustic piano to truly blossom.
It’s time to move on. I need to stop using digital pianos and start using acoustic pianos.
